Common Questions
Do I need an architect as well?
Usually someone draws the layout and covers fire safety, stairs and insulation. We work alongside your architect, designer or loft company on the structure.
Do I need planning permission for a loft conversion?
Often not. Many loft conversions fall under permitted development, which has limits on size and position. If similar conversions have been done on your street, that's a good sign, but it's not a guarantee. Your architect or designer should be able to advise.
